They left Wednesday to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins in Florida. Before the storm hit (for the midwesters who dont pay any attention: Hurricane Katrina), Becky took Jamie to the beach in the morning, then they boarded up the houses and prepared for the storm. Most stores were already closed down, so it took a while to get all the necessary supplies. They lost power in the evening, so no AC or fans in a boarded-up house.
